Sunday Morning Worship Service

Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00 am with opening prayer, followed by what we call "Penny March". Penny March is small children marching around the pews, while the Praise and Worship Team play one of the children's favorite songs, and the congregation put coins in their little buckets. The money they receive is a type of offering, from the more than eager adults and older children, that is used to purchase snacks, rewards for good behavior, and even playground equipment. The children conclude with a prayer to continuously invite Jesus into their hearts. Birthdays and Anniversaries are recognized and then begins the praise and worship portion of the service, followed by the sermon. Each service concludes with altar call as an invitation for new converts to give their heart to Our Lord Jesus Christ or anyone to lay their burdens at the foot of the Cross. Every service ends with an opportunity for the congregation to ask questions or make comments about the sermon. Lastly is prayer requests and praise reports, then closing prayer. Service normally concludes from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.

Sunday Evening Service

Sunday evening worship service begins at 6:00 pm with opening prayer and is much like the morning service, but consist of praise and worship, preaching, altar call, questions/comments, prayer requests/praise reports, and closing prayer. Service normally concludes about 7:30 pm.

Wednesday Night Teen Service

Our Teen services are a bit different than our regular worship services, in that they are geared toward the teenagers. We still have praise and worship, and the preaching of the word, but with a more youthful approach. Our Youth Pastor, Kristin Jones, brings a balance of a traditional service, mixed with some fun and music that is "Young Christian" oriented. The teenagers are provided with an atmosphere that is structured toward interaction and openness to discuss issues in their lives. Service begins at 7:00 pm and normally last to about 8:30 pm. Although it is a teen service, others are welcome. In addition, this group of teenagers lead the normal evening service on the fifth Sunday of any given month. We like to call it "Iron Sharpens Iron" in the fact that they are setting the stage for the younger children, while receiving encouragement from the adults. They are the next generation of the church!
